OUR MISSION: Meeting the desperate food needs of thousands of America’s most impoverished children by rushing life-saving emergency food to hungry families throughout the United States of America.

By operating with a network of member agencies and independent food banks, Food Providers of America achieves its mission through three important achievements:

Helping independent food banks, soup kitchens, and other charitable hunger-relief agencies provide a year round, nutritionally balanced food base to those in need

Preventing food waste within specific regions by rescuing surplus food from being dumped in landfills

Providing opportunities for food donors within the food and grocery industry to participate by furnishing transportation of donated commodities to geographical regions throughout the country.

Growers, manufacturers, distributors, and retailers all support Food Providers of America through their generous donations of surplus food or commodities.

We can’t let these donations go to waste.
